Sabrina Malheiros-New Morning
Following her best-selling debut album 'Equilibria', singer-songwriter Sabrina Malheiros returns with 'New Morning', an album of 21st century bossa – soul that mixes bossa, samba, disco and house together to create a sophisticated and sublime album.
New Morning features an all-star Brazilian team including: Jose Roberto Bertrami, Ivan Conti, Zé Carlos, Idriss Boudrioua and Paulinho Braga as well as legendary Brazilian arranger and composer Arthur Verocai. The album was produced by Daniel Maunick (DJ Venom son of Bluey’s from Incognito band)who also produced Sabrina’s previous album, yet the production on this album shows Maunick’s evolution into a highly versatile and skilful producer. Sabrina admits ‘He’s very eclectic musically and I have to confess I have learnt a lot…even in relation to Brazilian music.â€

New 12†Single - Sabrina Malheiros - Connexão
‘Connexão’ is the first single to be taken from Sabrina Malheiros’ forthcoming album ‘New Morning’ – the track also happens to be one of the first to be written for the album.
On the A Side Venom (son and producer of Bluey-Incognito) kicks off the 12†with the Para Diso mix which offers a sophisticated house interpretation lead by the infectious pulsating bass line.
The second remix on the A side is by Sofrito, duo comprising of Hugo Mendez – DJ and compiler for Soundway Records/ Jazzman Records – and Frankie Francis, the UK’s top dubplate engineer. Famed for their legendary warehouse parties and Tropical dubplate edits.
On the flip FLX aka “Foolish†Felix Dickinson, a well renowned DJ and producer behind Cynic Records, Bastedos and Urban Myth - Atlantic Jaxx, Eskimo, Avex, Mule Music. In one of his recent interviews DJ Harvey mentions Felix as one of his favourite producers alongside Lindstrom and Prins Thomas.
FLX’s soft, revolutionary dubby disco interpretation adds a fresh edge to the 12†with futuristic synth sounds lifting Sabrina’s vocal into the cosmos. FLX mix is already play-listed by Bill Brewster (DJHistory.com/ MOS Radio),DJ Cliffy (Batmacumba).

The Best of Marcos Valle- Carioca Soul
Far Out Recordings pays homage to one of Brazil's most accomplished artist and composer whose influence in defining the shape and direction of bossa nova from the 1960s to present day cannot be ignored. Carioca Soul is a collection of Marcos’s personal favourite tracks from his three studio albums on Far Out Recordings between 1994-2008 and includes 3 previously unreleased live versions of Samba de Verao, Mentira and Batucada Surgiu.
