The French percussionist and drummer Tony Match was influenced by the famous jazzmen and jazz labels. He created his own style from Jazz, Soul, Hip Hop and Jazzbreakbeats. He started his music lessons at 7 and at the age of 18 he received his College state music Diploma. Close to the Hip Hop & electronic culture, this multi-talent artist decided to dedicate his skills to the music production. Since 1998 he worked together with DJ and Producer Soul G, well known through his engagement with one of the best French Hip-Hop bands "La Rumeur". With him he released the longplayer “Pineapple Corner”, whereof they sold over 10.000 copies, and “Round Trip 2 Tokyo” on Mole Listening Pearls. Furthermore he worked with artists like Dynamax (USA), db Clifford (Canada), Beth Hirsch (USA), Mozez from Zero7 (UK), Sol (Spain/Argentina), Kaori Kaneko (Japan), Neelam (India) and some more. Tony Match produced and mixed more than 100 tracks on major companies & leading independent labels. Together with Soul G he did the new sounddesign for the website of Air France and worked for Pepsi and Peugeot, just to name a few.

Masirah is a new collaboration between the in demand remixer/producer Marc Rapson (Marvin Edits, Atjazz, Bennson), Futuristica head and producer Simon S (Sun Circle, Jazz Chronicles, Break Reform) & vocalist Deborah Jordan (Silhouette Brown, 4hero, Bugz In The Attic, Soundspecies).'Find A Way' is an up-tempo soulful/broken beat track which has been tranformed into a deep house masterpiece by the multi-talented remixer/producer Atjazz. 'See The Light' has a deep soul feel with Deborah delivering a beautiful lead vocal. Sun Circle add a filtered soul/hip hop version to round off this 4 track 12inch.

There is one interesting release from Etoka records that catch my ear. Blue Road EP coming from Finland's producer Daymere, he already had many relases on labels like 616 records, refo recordings, stupendous music, aqua azul & manuscript records as well as on a couple of netlabels. His productions are mainly deephouse tracks, often with some jazzy flavours. I suggest you to check his myspace page for pre-listening. I found track Turntable Casanova is my favorite but there are some crazy notes in On The Radio and Shake And Bake. This is not a House music that you'll find very often.

Jayd Kent brings to life Andy Votel's exceptional madcap artwork to produce this infectious animation for the title track to legendary keyboardist José Roberto Bertrami's recent album Aventura. The quirky 60s grooves come from legendary Brazilian trio Azymuths band leader. Latin Grammy nominee Zé Roberto brings together the Rio Strings Orchestra and the very best Brazilian players on this stunning live recording. Allow the master of the keys to take you on a dazzling aventura (adventure).
