Introducing 6th Sense Deep which is a new sub label of 6th Sense Music. The idea of the label is to highlight the deeper and techier side of Underground House music while 6th Sense Music will continue to push the funkier and more Chicago influenced sounds. The first release is by Ben Dean who releases two original tracks alongside remixes from Pete Dafeet and Paul Hardy & McKai. Originally from Manchester, UK, Ben Dean is currently creating musical noises from his base in Auckland, NZ. Since the highly regarded 3am Recordings started up in 2003, Ben has been a regular fixture on their release schedule, with both his own original material and on remix duty. Ben's unique brand of house music has also appeared on a handful of other well respected labels including Baker St, Spring Strut and Lost My Dog.
London-based Pete Dafeet is a producer and co-owner of deep house label Lost My Dog Records. Pete has sold more than 25,000 records, releasing and remixing for Shaboom, Robsoul, Detour, and Toolroom - music that's been supported by household names like Mark Farina, Danny Tenaglia, Groove Armada, and Laurent Garnier.
Leeds-based Paul Hardy runs respected UK deep house imprint Baker Street Recordings. His original music and remixes can be found on 2020 Vision, .dotbleep, Lost My Dog, Undertones and Deepology amongst other record labels. He has remixed the likes of Random Factor, Brett Johnson & DJ Heather, Bionic Bump Band and King Cosmic while having his own music reworked by Sei A, Sasse, Jay Shepheard and Miles Maeda.
Andy McKai is another Leeds based producer and has recently joined forces with Paul to collaborate on releases and remixes for Baker Street Recordings and various other labels and projects. Andy has a background in producing for TV and Film and boasts an impressive client list. Although he has a number of remixes and releases under his belt, this will be his first release in the new partnership with Paul.
