Craig Stewart is well known in the UK as a top next generation dj and producer. But as Craig discerns it's Not What You Know, it's Who You Know. 3345 Music is thrilled to know the tech-disco style on this EP. Funky, but a bit minimal, it grooves with soul and bleep - what a combination. Audio Soul Project increases the vibe with Mazi's signature deep beats, a hint of vocals, and an upfront bounce sure to pump the crowd. The Bump Brothers bring a Detroit feel and swing with super techy beats and vocal crescendo, a la ferrer.

It's that time again. Five new essential must-have can't-do-withouts for your record bag or jukebox. Great Stuff Recordings proudly presents the twelfth edition of Munich Disco Tech, with big names mingling with upcoming talents in the usual way. And this one's got summer written all over it. DJ Chus and D-Unity are two legends of tribal house – the former established since the late-'90s with some big releases on Defected over the years, and the latter a duo who have been underground favorites for DJs across the board. After Chus and his erstwhile production and DJ partner Ceballos licensed a D-Unity remix for their 2010 Nervous Records compilation Burn In Hell comes a truly breathtaking slice of peak-time action. Trademark shuffling, galloping percussion bounces under an elasticated subby b-line – one of those grooves that you could happily listen to a 1-bar loop of for hours – and the track slowly builds through extra rhythmic layers, big builds and swooshing effects. Ain't nothing but a groove, but it's one of the biggest of you'll hear all year and one that's set to destroy Ibiza all summer long. Speaking of Ibiza, island mainstay and rapidly rising star Nicole Moudaber provides her own interpretation of Burn In Hell, stripping things back to basics for a refined techno-focused journey that centres around solidity and subtle frills.

Tuccillo is a rare producer as he lives and works in Ibiza all year round rather than flies in for the summer. The white Island is without doubt the most overused and abused place on earth for dance music promotion, but beneath the glam superficial surface a real scene of native island talent is emerging. These are real people making real music from the heart. 2020Vision already supports the scene with a weekly mix all year round on Ibiza Sonica FM, which broadcasts peak time on Mondays throughout summer, just as the terrace closes at DC10 and people jump into cars to go to Cocoon. Through the radio show Ralph Lawson started to meet the producers and DJs involved in the Ibizan Underground scene through influential DJ and program director Igor Marijuan who introduced us to some of the new music coming out of the Island.

Trendy Mullet returns to the funk with a very diverse EP for number 13. Bumpin Stooge is a fun cut of party house, whilst Vanilla Stooge is a bouncy tech funk number with a catchy hook and awesome percussion. On the remix we have TOM SPECIAL INTEREST, DREW TEMPEST & THE QUIRK BURGLARS. The Quirks remix is a bumping slice of jackin tech house with lots of quirk and slight minimal overtones. Drew goes for a deep techy number adding some nice brass, whilst Tom strips things down for a bass heavy house number.
