Pete Dafeet Stutter - Lost My Dog - LMD055

Lost My Dog label boss Pete Dafeet steps up for his eighth original release on the label, as the UK imprint enters its eighth year! Three original deep, vintage house tracks with strong melodies are provided by Pete and the title track is remixed by deep house star Moodymanc (2020 Soundsystem/Dubble D). Who’s involved? London-based Pete Dafeet is a DJ, producer, and co-founder of Lost My Dog. Since first catching the house music bug as a teenager in the late 90s, Pete has performed around the world while releasing and remixing music on Shaboom, Robsoul, Detour and Toolroom – music that's been supported by household names like Mark Farina, Danny Tenaglia, Groove Armada and Laurent Garnier.

Having recently returned from a 6 month tour of North and South America Pete is set for a busy 2012, which will see new original music, remixes, and an installment in the ‘Family Affair’ series all under the Lost My Dog banner.  The ‘Stutter’ EP was finalized while on the road in South America, with Peace La Paz being inspired by and written in the Bolivian capital.

Moodymanc brings an almost untouchable pedigree to Lost My Dog.  Danny Ward’s career began as Dubble D with signings to Grand Central and 2020 Vision, before he became part of the live 2020 Soundsystem setup and subsequently began releasing solo house tracks as Moodymanc.  As Moodymanc he has graced Tsuba, Suara, Hudd Traxx, Landed and several more noteworthy deep and tech house labels.

This EP continues an exciting 2012 for Lost My Dog which will imminently see the release of Jon Delerious’ ‘Believe In You’ EP, Dominic Martin’s ‘Family Affair’ and continue with new music from Ian Pooley, Demarkus Lewis, Shades Of Gray, Murat Kilic, Dale Howard and YSE feat. Frank H. Carter III.
