The highly anticipated debut album from vocalist and bassist Stephen "Thundercat" Bruner on Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder imprint. Thundercat has worked with everyone from thrash metal band Suicidal Tendencies, Sa-Ra Creative Partners, Erykah Badu, Snoop Dogg to Stanley Clarke. Influenced by George Duke, Roy Ayers and Weather Report, 'The Age Of Apocalypse' is fundamentally an electro-jazz-funk fusion album brought into 2011 with abstract electronics and syncopated drumming.
