Aldo ‘Haldo’ Carpanzano has been the resident DJ for the past 20 years at Rebus Disconight, one of the most influential clubs in Southern Italy, welcoming guests such as Little Louie Vega, Tony Humphries, Ralphi Rosario and Victor Simonelli. As a producer he was discovered by Harley & Muscle who released his first album under the ‘Desansis’ name together with DJ Geppy ‘Mischibo’ Amoruso. His tracks have also been licensed to countless compilations and released on labels including Soulstar, Clubstar, Tony Records, Transport Records and Conya.
Andy Ward is a hugely influential figure within deep and soulful house music. He is perhaps most widely known as one half of Soul Central, whose ‘Strings Of Life’ stormed to number 6 in the UK charts and became a worldwide anthem. The success catapulted Andy into a DJ and producer of high demand all round the world and he can now count Strictly Rhythm, Defected, Cr2, Data and Positiva amongst the labels he has worked with and the legendary Soul Heaven in London as one of his many DJ residencies. Andy is also one of house music’s leading radio presenters, starting out on Birmingham’s Choice FM, which later became Galaxy 102.2, where he held down a weekend prime-time residency. Today his ‘Vocal Booth’ radio show is broadcast on stations all around the world to huge audiences.
Random Soul is the brainchild of two of Australia’s most prominent house DJs and producers, Yogi & Husky. With elements of soul, jazz and funk, the duo bring an underground, yet accessible flavour to their productions and remixes, which has seen them work with labels including Miguel Migs’ Salted Music, Jay-J’s Shifted Music, Celebrity, Onethirty, Barcoda, 815 and Kolour. Their debut release for Salted reached #1 on download store traxsource.com. In 2008 Random Soul were asked to compile and mix Hed Kandi’s ‘Beach House’ compilation CD for Ministry of Sound Australia. The CD was received with fantastic reviews and proved to Australia and the rest of the world that the Random Soul boys are at the forefront of Australian house music.
Cassady Locke from Brooklyn began working with Adaptation on the label’s first release, remixing Vincent Kwok’s ‘Las Llaves’. He has also released several productions for New York based Esho Recordings.
